Heard at the Symphony
Silence is like a book. You never know when it will end.
Sorrow is like a rug. You never know when it will fatten.
Annoyance is like an instrument. It can get louder and louder.
Joy is like a bird. You never know when it will fly away.
Silence is like an animal. You never know when it will run away.
Peace is like a cloud. You never know when it will darken.
Anger is like a chair. It can screech, but it can also sit still.
Rage is like a street. It can make lots of noise.
Terror is like a sidewalk. It can go on and on, or it can stop at a dead end.
Happiness is like a rocket. It shoots up, and then it falls back down.
