Takayuki's Page

Hi! My name is Takayuki. I am going to tell you about myself. I like to make up lots of silly old jokes and riddles. Everyone is tired of my jokes so I am planning to make a new one.

I really like math and math tests. Also, I really like the reading tests even though I don't get good scores. I've lived in USA for more than 4 years. I came here when I was 5 years old. I lived in Japan before that. You know, I don't really like Japan because it is very small and many people. When I want to go to a department store in Tokyo the capital, the train is full of people. In a rush hour, you will be all squeezed together. Trains are full of people, especially on the Yamanote Line. This train is always full of people even when it is not a rush hour. You can't move a bit. Then you might say, "I'll go by car!" Well, fat chance! Traffic jam for 4 hours! See! That's why I don't want to be in Japan. I can go for a vacation in summer, well you don't actually call that a vacation. Any where you go, crowded, crowded, crowded, crowded. Some place around my grandma's house in Japan, and I used to visit often, snows a lot. I heard it had more than 9 feet of snow. I like United States a lot better though.

I have a beagle named Chappie. He is 6 months old, and I got him on September 27, 1997. His birthday is July 17,1997. He is friendly, gentle and nice. I sometimes bring him to school and 10 million people crowd around him and make a huge traffic jam. My friend always ask me, " Is Chappie here?" I am getting tired of those questions. He knows a lot of tricks.

There are 2 big things happened on the stairs at our house.

1. When I was talking with Chappie, he was on the stairs and I was lying down on the stairs. Is there a more stupid person than one who would lie on the stairs? Well, you know what happened? Right? I fell off the stairs. I felt like I was on a roller coaster that was broken by kicking the wheels off.

2. When I was studying, suddenly I heard a loud bang and my mom screaming, "AHHHH!". I slammed the door of the my room so hard against the wall to open it that the door went, "boinggg." I felt that I made a big whole in the door. Anyway, I looked and looked around the house what had happened. Finally I found my mom smashed up with a vacuum cleaner on the stairs. She was laughing. " What in the universe happened?" I answered my own question. She fell off the stairs holding a vacuum cleaner.

My dad really likes to drive in our backyard when there is snow on the grass with our Jeep. I like it too. In January, 1998, Dad, Chappie and I build a huge snow house (igloo) in our yard. It is so huge that you can't imagine it. 3 Meters long and a meter and few cm tall. My dad used to live in the northern part of Japan where it snows a lot , so that he is an expert at it. I am very happy to have a father like him.

That is all about my family and funny things that happened to us. These funny things might happened to you once in a while!
