The gray Eastern Screech Owl has gray, black, and a little bit of brown on its feathers.
That is how he can protect himself when some of the wild animals are tryign to catch him.
He protects himself by standing on a branch on a dark brown tree. Nobody can see him that way because they have the same colors.
