If any owl's wingspan was as big as a Snowy Owl's wingspan, it would be able to bring down a Great Blue Heron.

Owls fly slower than other birds do because their wings have soft, round edges. Other birds' wings don't have soft and round edges and so it makes them have the power to fly quickly. Almost every bird's wing is long enough to glide. Sea gliders have slim, pointed wings. These wings help these birds glide.

Different birds have different wings for different reasons.

Wings of different owl species.
