Monotypes with stencil. A plexiglass plate was inked with a brayer, which is a printer's hand ink roller. Then stencils of people and animals were inked and placed on the plate. Marks were made on the plate and then the plate was printed on Ms Murray's etching press. The artwork was posted in the hall and then photographed, cropped to a uniform shape, and resized to make this slide show for the web site. The actual full sized monotypes look even better.
